दिल्ली में कोरोना वायरस के मामलों में वृद्धि का दौर लगातार जारी है। बीते 24 घंटों दिल्ली में कोरोना के नए मामलों की संख्या लगभग दोगुना हो गुई है। मंगलवार को जहां 496 नए संक्रमित मरीज मिले थे वहीं आज 923 नए कोरोना पॉजिटिव मरीज मिले है। इसके साथ ही राजधानी में अब एक्टिव 2191 हो गए हैं।
हालांकि इस दौरान किसी भी कोरोना संक्रमित की जान नहीं गई वहीं, 344 मरीज कोरोना से ठीक हुए। यह जानकारी दिल्ली के स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने बुधवार को दी।

दिल्ली में कोरोना का ओमिक्रॉन स्वरूप तेजी से फैल रहा है। आलम यह है कि 21 दिसंबर से 28 दिसंबर के बीच हुई जीनोम सीक्वेंसिंग जांच में कोरोना का ओमिक्रॉन स्वरूप डेल्टा स्वरूप के मुकाबले ज्यादा मिला है।
दिल्ली में इस एक हफ्ते की अवधि के दौरान कोरोना के 468 नमूनों की जांच की गई। इस जांच में पता चला कि कोरोना के कुल मामलों में 38 फीसदी मामले ओमिक्रॉन के थे, जबकि 31 फीसदी मामले डेल्टा वाले रूप के मिले। कुल जांचे गए नमूनों में 30 फीसदी मामले कोरोना वायरस के अन्य स्वरूप के मिले।
दिल्ली के इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ लिवर एवं बिलियरी साइंस (आईएलबीएस) की लैब में हुई जीनोम जांच में 53.6 फीसदी कोरोना के मामले ओमिक्रॉन वेरिएंट के प्राप्त हुए। वहीं 43.4 फीसदी मामले डेल्टा वेरिएंट के थे। यह नतीजे आईएलबीएस के लैब में 21 से 28 दिसंबर को हुई 125 नमूनों की जीनोम जांच में सामने आए हैं।
