केरल में भी बढ़ रहा ओमिक्रॉन का खतरा, आज फिर मिले 4 नए केस
केरल में कोरोना वायरस के नए स्वरूप ‘ओमिक्रॉन‘ के चार नए मामले सामने आने के बाद राज्य में इसके कुल मामले 15 हो गए हैं। राज्य के स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने बताया कि इन चार संक्रमितों में से दो की उम्र 41 और 67 है। इस तरह देश में ओमिक्रॉन संक्रमितों की कुल संख्या 160 हो गई है। इससे पहले दिल्ली में सोमवार को ओमिक्रॉन के दो नए मामले सामने आए थे।
केरल स्वास्थ्य विभाग के मुताबिक, सोमवार को राज्य में 4 और कोरोना संक्रमितों में ओमिक्रॉन वैरिएंट की पुष्टि हुई है। बताया जा रहा है कि ब्रिटेन से तिरुवनंतपुरम आए ‘ओमिक्रॉन’ के 17 वर्षीय संक्रमित की मां और दादी हैं। वह अपने पिता, मां और बहन के साथ नौ दिसंबर को ब्रिटेन से लौटा था।

तिरुवनंतपुरम में सामने आए ‘ओमिक्रॉन’ वैरिएंट के दो अन्य मामलों में 17 दिसंबर को नाइजीरिया से लौटे 32 वर्षीय व्यक्ति और एक 27 वर्षीय महिला शामिल हैं। ये महिला 12 दिसंबर को ब्रिटेन से लौटी थीं। राजीव गांधी जैव प्रौद्योगिकी केन्द्र में जांच के बाद इन लोगों के ‘ओमिक्रॉन’ के नए स्वरूप से संक्रमित होने की पुष्टि हुई। राज्य में ‘ओमिक्रॉन’ का पहला मामला 12 दिसंबर को एर्नाकुलम जिले में सामने आया था, तब ब्रिटेन से लौटा एक व्यक्ति इससे संक्रमित पाया गया था।
